About our classes

At Yorkshire Strength, we offer a diverse range of classes suitable for all abilities. Whether you're looking to master the technical skills of Olympic weightlifting, build foundational strength through powerlifting, or enhance your overall fitness with conditioning sessions, we have something for everyone. Each class is programmed and coached, ensuring a safe, engaging, and supportive environment.

OLYMPIC WEIGHTLIFTING CLUB

This club and its classes are our bread and butter, which we have been running since 2012. All classes are programmed and coached and are suitable for all abilities.

 

These classes are perfect for building movement quality and strength.  They focus around the snatch and the clean and jerk and have a whole body approach.

POWERLIFTING

A great and safe way to build strength under guidance. All classes are programmed and coached, are suitable for all abilities.

 

They focus around squats, bench press and the deadlift and have a complete full body approach with focus on injury prevention.

CONDITIONING

A fun and engaging way to get fit, our conditioning classes are designed to improve functional fitness, keeping the skill level lower and the work rate higher with a vest array of apparatus indoor and outdoor work.

 

Suitable for all abilities and always under the watchful eye of a coach that can tailor to specific levels.
